Lightweight PP Strapping Roll for Automatic and Semi-Automatic Machines

IDL Packaging offers a 1/2-inch x 9900 feet Polypropylene (PP) Strapping Roll with an 8 x 8 inches core size and a break strength of 350 lbs. The main advantages of poly strapping are affordability, durability, and a variety of applications. Poly strapping is the most economical strapping material available, compared to steel or cord strapping. The white poly strapping has an embossed surface that increases joint efficiency when seals for poly banding are used to seal two ends of the strapping.

Polypropylene strapping is lightweight and can be used for a variety of bundling applications. Poly strapping can be heat-sealed with a joint efficiency of 70 to 80%. By nature, polypropylene strapping is very flexible and has the ability to mold to odd-shaped or irregularly-shaped packages. Poly (PP) strapping is available in a wide variety of sizes and gauges and offers the greatest elongation of all strapping, as well as good initial recovery characteristics.

Designed for light-to-medium duty bundling, our polypropylene strapping can be used for a variety of applications of practically any size and shape. It is perfect for bundling newspapers, corrugated boxes, pipes, and all bulky but light items.

Polypropylene (poly) rolls are available in both machine (for use with semi-automatic machines) and hand grades (for use with manual strapping tools and battery-powered strapping tools), and in a variety of sizes and thicknesses.

The very flexible packing straps can wrap odd-shaped items or irregular shapes, and their elongation characteristics can absorb impact without breaking or losing their ability to retain the load.
